Co-designed by Luke Hancock and Ella Mainard, Mourning Glories is a short film set in a 1970s morgue, following mortician Debbie Douglas as she consoles a grieving widower. His homage to his late wife's life prompts Debbie to confront her own mortality.
For this project, I was responsible for designing the morgue's signage and various smaller graphics, ensuring they authentically reflected the 1970s setting. Additionally, I assisted in the set build and contributed to the scenic painting, helping to create an immersive and period-accurate environment that supports the film's narrative.
