Scenic Painting

I have learned practical methods in creating realistic textures, aging surfaces, and adding depth to bring environments to life on screen. Most of my scenic painting work took place during the set build for Paper Tiger, where I was taught by professional scenic painters at the university studios. Using glazes, chemical treatments, sawdust and stage paints, I was able to achieve a mouldy, moss-covered house with peeling, cracked surfaces.

All Paper Tiger scenic work was completed in collaboration with co-designer, Maddy Rabey.
